My name is Caitlin Cruz. I was born in Arizona, raised in Nebraska and found my true home in Texas.
I'm an independent journalist who specializes in reported features about reproductive rights, women, politics, and power. I also do fact-checking and copy-editing for print and digital publications.
Previously, I was an editor and reporter for Fusion (RIP), a blogger for Talking Points Memo, and an investigative fellow at The Seattle Times. My writing has appeared in/on D Magazine, PSMag.com, Elle.com, TexasMonthly.com, Jezebel, Digg, Racked (RIP), REMEZCLA, The New Orleans Times-Picayune, and The Arizona Republic, among others.
I graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University with concurrent bachelor's and master's degrees in 2014.
I live in Dallas. And I would love to work with you.
